My Weight Loss Blog

Dear friends,

It’s not often I do this, but I am sharing the details for my weightloss blog. It’s taken a couple of weeks for me to get it running with anything worthwhile in it but it’s more for personal reflection and to help me stay on the straight and narrow.

I follow simple old fashioned basic rules with the help of Slimming World. Lean meats, lots of fruit and veggies, home cooked meals, limited milk, low fat or fat free dairy, less processed and ready meals. It’s simple. It’s what we all know deep down, just for some of us – Myself especially, I just need that back up support of a slimming club.

So, I am happy to share, I am happy to keep it public, so please be nice. I am incredibly honest about my weight, my achievements and what I want to achieve but I am doing this for me.

If you don’t tire of a woman on a mission, then please check out my blog:

I’m sharing this because I believe in people power, support from friends and I trust people. So ya know, be nice or be blocked. I’m sharing this to help myself and others not be abused. Simple really.

  1. Good for you! This is a huge step!! I’m still not to the point that I want my IRL friends and family to know about my blog or my journey! I hope to be comfortable with it by the end of the year, though. You are doing great!! Keep it up!

    1. I don’t tell real friends or family about my blogs. (Sometimes I might need to whinge about them without them knowing ;)) so I tend to keep it to the online community and share that with friends I have made through blogs in other places over the years and new friends in similar positions.

      1. Oh, I see! I thought you were going public to your IRL friends and family, too! Either way, that’s okay! It’s still very brave of you to share such a personal experience with the world! Whether they know you IRL or not!

      2. I might do one day, just so they know how far I’ve come when I get down to my “happy weight”. I might be really generous and share it with my Slimming group after a couple of months too. I think it’s important that even when we feel big to get progress pictures. I find it a really big spur on if you can see a difference between the months even if it feels weight loss is slow at times so this is my place for that amongst a bit more.
